The British Columbia Law Enforcement Memorial will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018.

The BC Legislature, Victoria, on Vancouver Island, will be the site of the memorial ceremony.

FAMILIES OF THE FALLEN, PLEASE NOTE:

  • Family members are asked to arrive at the Hemlock Room at the BC Legislature at 12:00 noon and will be escorted to reserved seating at approximately 12:40 pm. Light refreshments, memorial ribbons and programs will be available.
  •  Parking is available for family members with mobility issues. All other family members are directed to seek out City of Victoria parking spaces in the vicinity of the Legislature which are free on Sundays.

MEMORIAL SERVICE
1300 – 1400 hrs The Memorial Service commences and will include:
*  National Anthems of Canada and the United States
*  Opening Prayer and Blessing
*  Speeches
*  Reading of the Honour Roll
*  Rifle Salute
*  Last Post, Moment of Silence, Reveille
*  Fly Past
*  Prayer and Scripture Reading – Chaplain Jim Turner
*  Piper’s Lament
*  Laying of Wreaths by Representatives of:
i. Family of Fallen Members
ii. Government of British Columbia
iii. BC Municipal Police Departments
iv. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies
v. Provincial Law Enforcement Agencies
